Savings for Our Seniors (S.O.S) Program

 

The S.O.S. Program provides financial help for senior citizens who may be struggling to pay their bills. Through the S.O.S. program, Assemblyman DeAngelo’s office works with 14th Legislative District constituents to identify a wide-range of potential programs that they may qualify for to help lessen their financial burden.   The S.O.S program finds benefits and services to provide access to:

• Property tax relief                    

• Health care services 

• Prescription drug programs     

• Utilities assistance 

• Food programs                           

• Transportation aid 

• Housing assistance                     

• Veterans programs

 

 

Energy & Utility Assistance 

For various reasons such as unexpected illness to job loss, the price of paying household utility bills are often overwhelming for families trying to make ends meet.  Assistance is available through Assemblyman DeAngelo's office on various programs for homeowners and renters.

Property Tax Reimbursement (Senior Freeze) Program
